You can feel Elliot McDavid's anger as he storms toward Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland in the lobby of Grande Prairie City Hall. By now, everybody's seen the video of the Alberta man demanding the Liberal finance minister "get the fuck out of Alberta," but what do we plan to do about it? How did we get to this point of rage-driven politics, and how do we get out of it?

Why are Canadians so angry, anyway? Are we more angsty than we were even a few years ago? What does this mean for discourse moving forward? Where do politicians and media need to take this trend? Is it even possible to build bridges anymore?
